Fukakita Greenery Park (Fukakita Ryokuchi)

Osaka Prefectural Fukakita Greenery Park (Osaka-fuei Fukakita Ryokuchi), ranging from the south end of Neyagawa City to the north end of Daito City, is normally a park for recreation and sports. It has been also under improvement work as a flood control basin to temporarily accumulate flooded water in case of heavy rain, and a part of it has been already opened.

○ Waterfront zone (Mizube no zone)

A facility where people can have fun with water will be constructed in this site centering on Fukano-Ike pond (Fukano Ike), which functions to control torrential water flowing from the overflow dike of Neyagawa River.

○ Communication zone (Fureai zone)

With the lawn ground for light sports and picnic at the center, there are various grounds such as a playground with playing equipment like a wrecked ship model and dinosaur replicas for children's curiosity and a cherry garden where the trees are in full bloom in spring.

○ Sports zone

This is an activity zone with a variety of facilities for popular sports. There are ball game grounds and 14 all-weather tennis courts. A ground for rubber-baseball was newly established in April 2000 and it have been available for a wide range of uses.

○ Other facility

Cherry Blossom Garden (Sakura no Sono), Children's Playground (Jido Yugijo), Lawn Ground (Shibafu Hiroba), Sports House, parking area
